Accessibility statement
Accessibility is at the heart of libretto42, and that should apply to this website too. This statement covers www.libretto42.com.
We aim to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. We believe the website largely meets these requirements; the known limitations are listed below.
How we tested: every page was checked automatically with axe-core in the desktop and mobile layouts, with no errors. We checked keyboard operation, use with the VoiceOver screen reader, the layout at 320 pixels wide and at 200% text size, and colour contrast by hand.
The whole website can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus and a “Skip to content” link. Images have text alternatives. Moving content such as the slideshow and the row of cards on the home page, the logo band and the looping videos can be paused, and it stays still if your device is set to reduce motion. The slideshow and the row of cards also pause while they have keyboard focus. The videos have German and English captions, switched on in the language of the page, and a transcript you can open below them, which also briefly describes what is seen. For the video without speech, the transcript describes what it shows.
Known limitations: the screenshots of our software show user interfaces; their text alternatives describe what matters, not every detail.
Have you come across a barrier, or do you need content in a different format? Write to us at libretto42@lemon42.com. We will get back to you as soon as we can.
